Shahrukh Khan's loss is Salman Khan's gain. The Jai Ho star has apparently signed on for director/ producer Karan Johar's next magnum opus titled Shuddhi. Reportedly, Johar was in talks with SRK as well, for the film.
Salman Khan is Johar's new hero, reports Bollywood Life. The film has been facing casting issues ever since its first lead actors Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan opted out. For months now, Johar has been trying to find the right lead actor for this film which is to be directed by Karan Malhotra (Agneepath).
According to the report, there have been hush-hush talks of how SRK would step into Roshan's shoes as the hero in Johar's delayed venture for quite some time.
But reportedly, Khan's no show on Koffee With Karan had caused a divide between the two friends and hence, his chances of signing the film looked slim.
Other A-list stars like Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh were also approached to play the lead role. Sadly, things did not materialise.
Kapoor has a busy year ahead with a number of films in-production including Imtiaz Ali's film opposite ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone, Jagga Jasoos with Katrina Kaif and Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet.
Apart from that, rumours suggest that the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani star will also be working on a Sanjay Dutt biopic to be directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
Ranveer Singh, on the other hand, chose to romance his alleged 'current flame' Padukone in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next - Bajirao Mastani.
Looks like the famous and successful pairing of Karan Johar and Shahrukh Khan Might just take a massive hit.

Salman Khan fans to 'pray' on Twitter for his hit-and-run case...

You’ve heard crazy stories of fanfare when it comes to Bollywood actors; from letters in blood to people travelling from afar to catch a glimpse of a star in Mumbai.

And Salman Khan, of course, is among the actors with the biggest fan following. On Twitter, too, his fans are known to sing praises every time his film releases, and go ballistic when it gets a bad review.

Now, Salman Khan’s Twitter fan club (with a whopping 90,000-plus followers) has decided to show their support for the actor as he goes through a tough stage in the 2002 hit-and-run case: they are planning to share a prayer song for Salman on social media.

The court case had a recent, significant development when witnesses identified the actor as the man behind the wheel.

Actor Sharib Hashmi, a self-confessed Salman fan, has composed the song as an ode to the actor. He says, "The Salman Khan fan club approached me for the song as a sign of their solidarity towards Salman."

Meet the new Salman Khan!

He has two brothers called Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan!
In his new film Hawaa Hawaai, Amole Gupte has cast several very talented children. Gupte has spent a major part of his life working with street children and has cast one of them as a spirited gajra seller named Bhura in his latest. Bhura's off-screen name is Salman Chote Khan.
Turns out, Chote Salman is not only a huge fan of Salman Khan, he also has brothers named Aamir Chote Khan and Shah Rukh Chote Khan. Speaking affectionately on this unusual homage to the Khan superstars Gupte says, "Yes, Salman Chote Khan indeed has two brothers named Aamir and Shah Rukh. Salman Chote Khan is from the streets. The spirit and the spunk that you see in him onscreen comes from the fearlessness of not caring who's looking while he is acting. The boy has grown up on the streets. The camera doesn't intimidate him. How can it, when life doesn't intimidate him?"
The director further reveals that Salman Chote Khan's parents are impoverished. "His mother is a domestic help. His father is a construction labourer. They live in the buildings where the father works. They eat and sleep on the construction site. That's how poor these kids are."
The filmmaker hopes Hawaa Hawaii would make profits so that kids like Salman Chote Khan could get some financial help.

Salman Khan And Mishti To Share Screen Space?

Salman Khan Cover PicSubhash Ghai‘s latest directorial venture Kaanchi reportedly has been a huge box office fiasco. Mishti who is the latest discovery of Ghai, too failed to impress the critics with her performance in the film. Well even after receiving lukewarm response for the film, Ghai apparently has roped inSalman Khan for his next directorial endeavour, and if the reports are to be believed then itsMishti who will be playing a lead opposite Salman.
Not being able to gratify the critics, Ghai seems to be quite satisfied with Mishti‘s acting proficiencies. The actress has signed a three film deal with Ghai and is looking forward to give her best in the upcoming projects.
The newbie has her comparisons being made with Aishwarya Rai, but she finds such comparisons unfair and delusive.
Receiving plenty of offers from Bengal, Mishti gallantly has decided to direct her entire focus on Bollywood and she will be residing in the city of dreams for sometime now, while she is busy in the post release promotions of her film Kaanchi.
Salman who has worked with Ghai earlier in Yuvraaj is currently shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala‘sKick and Sooraj Barjatya‘s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and after that he will begin working on for No Entry Mein Entry.

Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir attacked by imposter

Not every day you would find Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan reacting over random tweet, but recently Khan lost his temper and blasted off an imposter on social media.
SRK was so enraged over a comment he claimed he did not make, he found it imperative to clear his stand, losing it in the process.
Ever since Bhartiya Janata Party's (BJP) victory in the general election in India, there have been reports on social media suggesting that Shah Rukh had once said that he will leave India if Narendra Modi becomes Prime Minister.
Micro-blogging networking site was abuzz with the news.
This is how the story unfolded. Small-time actor and troublemaker Kamaal R Khan, posted a couple of controversial tweets claiming that leading actors such as Shah Rukh, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan had promised to leave India forever if BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi wins.

3 mistakes of Salman Khan’s life!

The Dabangg Khan is indeed one of the most loved Bollywood star today. However this star’s past continues to casts its dark shadow even today on his present and future…

Salman Khan, the eternal bachelor of B-town is one of the biggest and brightest star in tinsel town, The Jai Ho actor has surely come a long way. However in his journey towards stardom, the actor indeed made a lot of mistakes. Today he might lead a rockstar’s life, but three mistakes of his life cannot be undone continue to haunt him even today. BollywoodLife brings you 3 mistakes of Salman Khan’s life…
The black-buck poaching case: It all happened in 1998 when Salman was shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s film, Hum Saath Saath Hai in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Salman was charged with hunting two black bucks, which were an endangered species, at Kankani village on the night of October 1, 1998. The Kick actor was also accused of carrying illegal arms, following which he was sent to the prison in the same year and again in 2007. It has been almost 16 years, but this mistake continues to haunt him even today. Remember he was denied a visa to UK last year? Well, that was all due to this infamous black buck poaching case.
Break up with Aishwarya Rai (Bachchan): It was during the shoot of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’sHum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Aishwarya and Salman got along like a house on fire. After which Bollywood found it’s first superstar couple. Their affair was the fodder of gossip mills for the longest time. As they say, what’s love that has no spark, right? Ash’s family opposed the relationship, but she stood by her man. The former Miss World ultimately broke up with Sallu, after he inadvertently admitted that he was unfaithful towards her. In an interview, Ash even went on to confess that Salman was not able to come to terms with their break-up and would often call and harass her. “After we broke up, he would call me and talk rubbish. He also suspected me of having affairs with my co-stars. I was linked up with everyone, from Abhishek Bachchan to Shahrukh Khan. There were times when Salman got physical with me, luckily without leaving any marks. And I would go to work as if nothing had happened,” the Taal actor revealed in a rare tell-all interview to a daily.
And because of all the suspicion, the Sallu even reportedly slapped director Subhash Ghai and created a scene on the sets of Kuch Na Kaho, which featured Ash and Abhishek Bachchan in lead roles. That’s not all. Salman’s tamashaa on the sets of Chalte Chalte, was one of the first spark in the Shahrukh-Salman war. Sallu had stormed onto the sets of the film, pushed Aishwarya to the ground, raised hand on her, prompting intervention from spectators. This was when Shahrukh, who was the producer and hero of this film, intervened in the couple’s heated quarrel and was verbally attacked by Salman. SRK soon replaced Ash with Rani Mukerji in this film, which affected his rapport with the Bachchan bahu. Aishwarya’s career was badly affected as no actor was ready to work with her.
Later the Dhoom 2 actor started dating Vivek Oberoi. The duo were spotted together at various places. However, this too didn’t go down well with Ash’s ex-flame. Vivek and Salman had a public showdown, where Vivek levelled all sorts of allegations against Salman at a press conference. TheSaathiya actor said that Salman threatened to bash him up in public and kill him. Under the full glare of the media, Vivek went on saying how Salman called him 41 times to threaten him. He even openly challenged Salman to a duel.
Vivek thought that he had s support from his lady love and Bollywood, but guess what? Ash was not happy and is said to have found her boyfriend’s behaviour very immature. After this panga withSalman, Oberoi Jr lost out on film offers, in fact he suffers from this aftermath even today. His career has seen a steady downfall with playing sidey characters and featuring in multi-starrers.
2002 hit-and-run case: In 2002, while Salman was still reeling with his break-up, another trouble ran into his life quite literally. On the night of September 28, 2002, Salman’s Toyota Land Cruiser allegedly ran over five people sleeping on the footpath outside American Express Bakery on Hill Road in Bandra, killing one and injuring four others. Witnesses have alleged that the Judwaa actor was driving the vehicle, but the actor has denied these charge. It was being said that the actor was drunk and after the tests, almost 65mg alcohol was found in his blood on the night of accident. It has been 12 years since, and today this mistake seems to endanger his future as an actor.

And even if Salman Khan continues to have a humungous legion of fans who worship him, these 3 mistakes of his life seem to tag along. He might be the poster boy of Being Human, charity and goodness, the verdict of 2002 hit-and-run case might just take the actor back to dark dungeons of his mistakes…

Narendra Modi supporters in Bollywood: Salman Khan, Rajinikanth, Vivek Oberoi and Kapil Sharma root for BJP!

Salman-Khan-Narendra-modi-Salinm-Khan

Bollywood seems to be divided on the new government in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Today being the counting day let’s take a look at those who sung or supported the chant ‘Ab ki baar Modi sarkar!’

Salman Khan, Rajinikanth, Vivek Oberoi, Ajay Devgn, Preity Zinta, Madhur Bhandarkar are few Bollywood celebs who seem to be routing for Bharatiya Janata Party prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in Bollywood. While Sallu was recently spotted enjoying Modi’s company in Gujarat during the promotions of his film Jai Ho. His father Salim Khan launched NaMo’s official Urdu website and even sang praises in favour of the man touted as the next Prime Minister of India. While Rajinikanth has maintained a non-political alignment, the actor surprised us when we spotted a lungi clad Modi share a warm bond with the Kochadaiiyaan star.
“Everyone knows that he (Modi) is a strong leader and able administrator. He is my well wisher and I am his well wisher. I wish him all the best for his future. All the time God should be always with him. I pray God whenever he thinks, whatever he thinks should happen,” Rajinikanth said in an obvious reference to Modi’s ambition to become Prime Minister.
Vivek Oberoi had voiced his support for NaMo and said, “I feel that the country needs Narendra Modi today. He is a vikas purush, he has proved his work in Gujarat. People are raising questions against him, but I think Modiji talks less and works more.”
While Madhur Bhandarkar had raised his voice against anti Modi slogans raised against Modi in Bollywood and said, “Let’s hope better sense prevails and our film industry elects Narendra Modi with a thumping majority. It’s time India got a visionary leader. Launching a personal attack on a man who has done more for his state than any other leader, reeks of conspiracy and unwarranted paranoia.”
Preity Zinta too feels that Narendra Modi is an able leader, “I don’t campaign for any political party. Have not done it in the past nor will do it in the future. Hope it’s clear to everyone once & 4all. It’s amazing how every 1is discussing Mr. Modi. After a long time there’s such curiosity4 one Man. Hope he can live up2 all the expectations!”
Kapil Sharma on the other hand had faced fans ire when he chose to retweet NaMo’s post -that ridiculed Rahul Gandhi’s allegations against him, Narendra Modi said the Congress leader’s comical statements could soon force Kapil Sharma to end Comedy Nights With Kapil. “The way Rahul Baba is making statements with a dash of comedy in them, I think the TV show of Kapil Sharma may soon have to shut shop,” Modi wrote on Twitter.
There are many celebs who are contesting elections from Modi’s BJP party and a whole lot of B-townies who are cheering for Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) and Rahul Gandhi from Congress. But with some of the heavy weights from Bollywood supporting Mr Modi, it’s interesting to watch Bollywood’s political inclinations in thois year’s Lok Sabha elections 2014.
